About Kevin McKort

Starting at the age of 15, Kevin McKort began working in the auto body industry. He was taught body repair, frame repair, refinishing, and restoration from highly qualified and skilled technicians that have been in the trade for over 30 years.

 

Kevin worked for 11 years straight doing restoration and repair on luxury cars such as Mercedes, Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, and SAAB. After this, he worked 7 years as a production painter for large volume repair and collision shops. Since then, Kevin has worked as a vehicle refinish technical representative and fleet sales and fleet tech rep across western Canada for Sherwin Williams. Kevin's extensive training includes painting certifications from companies such as Standox, ICI, and Sherwin Williams, Sikkens, BASF, Glasurit, and Dupont. Fleet refinishing systems include Imron 5000/6000, Genesis, Sunfire, and Endura Coatings.

 

Leaving painting, Kevin has worked for 9 years as a manager for some of Edmonton's largest repair facilities and has had the privilege to have worked at Chrysler, Ford, GM, and Toyota dealerships.

 

Always providing outstanding quality and 100% customer service satisfaction, Kevin really outdoes his competition. Because of his great work ethic, and attention to detail, Kevin has acquired an extremely large customer base throughout Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and Fort Saskatchewan, which will only continue to grow with time. Kevin works with the auto body apprenticeship board to continually bring new people into the auto body industry, and assist in their training. He is trying to be an industry leader with the environmental impacts that body shops have on the environment by working closely with companies such as Nor-Alta, to provide proper disposal of waste and contaminants.
